The hard work of preparing and producing the first novel, "Gather Rosebuds While You May" in the "Souls of Roses" series has culminated in the first "bud" blossoming; a score of printed books arrived on my doorstep cloaked in an unobtrusive cardboard box. When I first opened the box filled with a work of the heart, bathed in prayer and born of grace, I cried. And then, I laughed. What a journey it's been.
Dear Reader, you have been much on my heart as I wrote this book. If you are inclined to read "Gather Rosebuds", I fervently hope that when you've read the story and close the back cover of the book, it will be with a greater assurance that God treasures you. Not collectively, impersonally or distantly, ah...no. His gorgeous, valiant heart sees you as His Beloved, the everlasting object of His constant attention and devotion.
